Snow, Snow, and more Snow

It's been a pretty snowy last few weeks. While I shouldn't complain, I do. It's great for our dry, dry, dry state. While the mountains have gotten whallomped with snow all winter, Denver's been pretty crispy and dry until recently. I even dragged out the hose a few time to water our trees so they wouldn't suffer too much in the extra dry weather.

Mother Nature is catching us up now. We've had back to back storms just like the rest of country, although not nearly as bad as the east coast. It has made the men in my life very happy, they both enjoy the wintery cold weather when it's accompanied by the white stuff. Happily they will spend long hours outside playing in the snow. Sadly, it's really been too cold to be much fun to play in, plus cold temps mean the snow isn't the right kind of snow, either. It just doesn't stick to make good snowmen and is too fluffy to sled in, but they persist.

This weekend we got three straight days of snow. And it was REALLY STICKY. Boy, did they get busy.
Walking up the sledding hill on his own this year.

FFM's tipping over and out on purpose. He decided crashing was way more fun than coming to a safe and controlled stop. 100% boy.

It's snowing again tonight, 7-10" expected for tomorrow. Our trees and boys will be happy.
