Moores Go to Baseball!

Take me out to the ballgame...

We went to see the Rockies!  It was our first baseball game as a family here in Denver (we went to a Diamondbacks game last fall in AZ).  Travis got four tickets in a raffle at work and we took FFM's pal Emma with us for a Saturday evening game.

The kiddos babbled the whole way there, but got quiet when we got to downtown.  I turned around and they were making good use of our rear sunroof.  Look at all those TALL buildings!

 Our seats were great, right on 3rd base.  I can tell you that when you watch baseball with a 5 year old and a nearly 4 year old you don't actually get much of the game watched.  Travis described it as "very little baseball and a lot of snack management."  Still fun.  Cracker Jacks kept them busy for more than an inning.

They made it until the end of the 5th inning, by then both kids were seriously droopy so we headed out.  I was hoping they'd make it to the 7th inning stretch, maybe next time (it was already past 8pm and both kiddos are normally in bed by then).  Finn sang Emma to sleep on the way home and promptly passed out when we came in the door.
