Bad Luck

Oh no, it's not a reaction, FFM actually HAS chicken pox. Turns out the incubation time (2 weeks) between the shot and now wasn't long enough so sometime about a week before he got his shot he actually caught the pox, then he got immunized for it, and in the meantime the virus he caught was busy making hay in his little immune system. Poor little man, he's got chicken pox all over. It's his scalp that makes me saddest :( He doesn't seem too bothered, although the ones behind his ears definitely are itchy. Spirits are good, better than I would expect.

It's turning into a stellar (haha) vacation for my Mom and Eric. The weather has been nasty and 'cold' (60s) except for the first day they arrived, it's raining today, and FFM's sick so he and I are stuck at home. They are out trekking about town in the rain today, good for them to make the most of what could be a crummy vacation!
