First of the Lasts

Our last book club meeting was this week. These lovely ladies have been with Finn from before there was Finn. And now they are lovely and patient the times we try to discuss our books and Finn is too loud for anyone to actually hear what anyone else is saying. Luckily the last few books have been sort of a mixed bag and we haven't had a lot to discuss. This, our last meeting, he was rocked to sleep by a practiced grandma and we had a great discussion of a spectacular book "The Girls" by Lori Lansens.

Friday we went to the Dublin zoo. Finn's favorite stuffed toy is Andy the Giraffe (from Sarah and Susie) so we had to stop and visit the giraffes. Guess who was asleep. However our friend Hannah was awake. Finn woke up later but the giraffes had moved farther away and I don't think he could see them.
